Principal flute at Brazilian Symphony Orchestra since 2003-2006. Principal flute at Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra 1981-2001.

In 2000, played during the 28th National Flute Convention in Columbus, OH in two concerts, where he played the Ernst Widmer’s concert for two flutes.

Pledged in the international diffusion of Brazilian composers, in 1999 he carried through with great success tour with the pianist Fernando Tomimura in Germany, Finland and Russia.

Considered today one of the most important flute teachers in Brazil, his work as a teacher has been developed in several places such as the Faculdade Cantareira and in different festivals all over the Country, helping to form new musicians.

His discography includes two CDs for the Paulus label, Trio for Flute, Viola and Guitar and Music for Flute, dedicated to works of Boismortier.

His Bachelor Degree was taken at the FASM, and to improve his knowledge, he attended several Master Classes and courses abroad, with prominent musicians such James Galway, at the “7th International Flute Seminar“; Jeanne Baxtresser, James Walker, Ándrás Adorjan and Pierre-Yves Artaud. In Brazil, his teachers were Jean Noel Saghaard and Renato Axelrud.

His large experience with the orchestra has been acknowledged and consequently he has been invited to participate with different symphonic combination with prominent conductors as well to accompany important interpreters, among others, we can mention Luciano Pavarotti, Eva Marton and Paul Badura-Skoda.
